L-E tops Longview

LONGVIEW, Texas — Liberty- Eylau defeated Longview in a varsity girls basketball game, Tuesday at Lobo Colesium. Bryana Block had 18 points, three steals and five assists, while Ja’Niya Sanders added 12 points with five rebounds.

Myah Hurd hit consecutive three-pointers to help open up the lead for the Lady Leopards in the third quarter.

L-E ‘s junior varsity squad defeated the Lady Lobos, 52-43. Bre Adams led the Leopards with 15 points. Alexandria Threats finished with 12 points and Jaquoye Williams added 11 points.

Ashdown sweeps Bismarck

ASHDOWN, Ark. — Ashdown swept Bismarck on the hardwood Thursday night at Helen Parker Gym, on the campus of Ashdown High School.

The Panthers edged the Lions in the varsity boys game, 58-50.

The Pantherettes defeated the Lady Lions, 50-36.

Ashdown toppled Bismarck in the freshman game, 44-27.

SUBVARSITY PG downs Paris

TEXARKANA, Texas — Pleasant Grove beat Paris in the first eighth-grade game, 43-16.

Kenasia Henry led the Lady Hawks with 17 points and teammate Abigail Boehmke added 10 points.

PG defeated Paris in the second eighth-grade game, 28-8.

Simone Williams and Rashilla Williams each scored 8 points for the Hawks.

TMS splits with MP

MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas —Texas Middle School lost the first eighthgrade girls game with Mount Pleasant, 60-27.

Carlyn Clack led the Lady Tigers with 12 points and teammate Kyla Reed added eight points.

TMS fell to Mount Pleasant in the second eighth-grade game, 23-10.

Ellsandra Lee and Azala Ward each scored four points apiece for the Tigers.

TMS won the first seventh-grade contest, 39-8.

Sydney Woods led the Tigers with 14 points.

Texas Middle School lost the second eighth-grade game, 25-8.

Madison Nickleberry led the Tigers with four points.

Hooks edges Redwater

REDWATER, Texas — Redwater beat Hooks in the first eighth-grade game, 35-32.

Mikey Baysinger led the Hornets with 13 points and teammate Dontravious Coulter added 10 points.

In the second eighth grade game, Hooks defeated Redwater, 19-10.

Kayden Estell led the Hornets with five points.

Hooks beat Redwater in the seventh-grade game, 32-13.

Ripken Birdwell led the Hornets with 16 points.

Queen City, DeKalb share wins

DeKALB, Texas — Queen City beat DeKalb in their eighth grade girls game, 31-25.

Breanna Tuberville led the Lady Bulldogs with 10 points.

DeKalb won the seventh-grade game with Queen City, 25-12.

Kerian Thomas led the Bulldogs with five points.
