Now is the time

-

TO THE EDITOR:

“Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of your country.”

“There is a time to speak and a time to remain silent.”

“You got what you wanted but do not want what you got.”

Any first year typing student recognizes the first statement. The second is Ecclesiastes 3:7. The third describes the chaos of the next few years in our nation brought on by the pure hatred of Donald Trump. It can be debated who run the train off track or if the train is off the track; rest assured the train is off or will be off the track very soon. With the engineers of this national train ordering the tracks, trestles and bridges destroyed; full steam ahead with the crew he has installed it is a “custom made” disaster without fail!

This calamity of our nation can be avoided but it has to happen now as we cannot endure two or four years until another election. The people nation wide at every level has to “wake up” “walk up” and “speak up” in a loud, unified, unabashed voice to right this ship at every level of our government; school; city; county; state and national. The most pressing need is to rescue our children from the “public education brainwashing” being forced fed them daily. This can be done by attending school board meetings; council meetings; county meetings; state and national offices and demanding answers for their actions; copies of invoices for expenditures and justifications for some. (You may have to file a FOIA request.) Schedule conferences with your child’s teacher; know what you are asking for and demand you get it. To the church members; Get outside the church walls we have been pinned into; carry the message we are commanded to do in a loving by unapologetic way.

This may sound idiotic and radical to some people but we as a nation have brought this on ourselves by retreating and being silent when we knew different! Whether it is too late for our nation as described for another nation in II Chronicles 36:14-16 is in question but we have to pray it is not!
