SQUIRE JONES JR.

Squire Williams Jones, Jr.,79, of Atlanta, Texas passed away December 8, 2021 at his home. Mr. Jones was born May 4, 1947 in Atlanta, TX. S.W. was a member of Shady Grove C.M.E. Church and retired as a Steelworke­r at Lone Star Steel.

Closed Casket service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at First Baptist Church, Rev. Johnny Stanmore Pastor and Rev. Carolyn G. Chamblee, officiatin­g. Burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home. A walk through viewing will be held Friday, December 17, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. PLEASE WEAR A MASK.

Squire leaves to cherish his memory, a son, Braylon Jones of Atlanta, Tx; a sister, Janie R. White and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

FELECIA THOMAS

Felecia Roshunne Thomas, age 46, of Queen City, Texas went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 13, 2021, in Texarkana, TX. Felecia was born May 13, 1975 to the late Mary Heath. She was a member of Cornerston­e Assembly of God and worked as a General Manager of various businesses.

A Celebratio­n of Life (Closed Casket) to honor her will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Cornerston­e Assembly of God, 105 West Main, Atlanta, TX with Pastor John Smith, Jr., officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Gum Springs Cemetery, Douglassvi­lle, TX under the direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home. A walk through viewing will be held from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Friday, December 17, 2021 at the funeral home. PLEASE WEAR A MASK.

Felecia was preceded in death by her parents: Mary Heath and Jesse Northcutt; two brothers, Eddie Eugene Young and Joe Northcutt; one sister, Jesse Ann Northcut

She leaves to cherish her memories, son, Christophe­r Young; a daughter, DeShunte Young; granddaugh­ter, Naomi Young; 5 brothers, Cory, James, Gregory, Eric Young, and Secial Heath; 11 Nieces, 10 Nephews; A Life Partner, Berry Sheppard and a host of cousins and relatives.

FRANZ BARNES SR.

Rev. Franz (F.S.) Schubert Barnes, Sr., 84, came into this world on August 26, 1937, in Prentiss, Mississipp­i to the late Rachael Barnes and Virgil Collins Barnes. He made his triumphant transition to glory on December 9, 2021 with his eyes looking toward heaven. Accordingl­y, the angels rejoiced at his arrival.

Rev. Barnes grew up in Mississipp­i. He met and married the late Paul Alice Barnes and remained married for 45 years until her demise in 2000, To this union two children were born and an adopted child joined the family. He remarried May 16, 2001 to Lola Adams. They were married for 20 plus years at the time of his passing. Uniting in this marriage he gained three more children.

Rev. Barnes pastored several local churches as well as churches out of state. They include Mt. Pleasant of Fresno, CA; New Bethel of ElDorado, AR; Mt. Zion, Pilgrim Rest, and Mt. Grove of Texarkana, AR. His final years in the ministry was under Pastor Nicole Hill of Calvary Christian Church where he served as a humble servant of Jesus Christ.

He loved working with the children and staff at Texarkana Arkansas School District as a crossing guard, maintenanc­e worker and bus aide for five years. Rev. Barnes also was a proud assistant funeral director for 20 years at Lyles Funeral Home, Inc.

Survivors include his wife: Lola F. Barnes; sons, Ray A. (Delores), Barnes, Isaac Adams, F.S. (Kim) Barnes, Jr., Raymonn Adams, Dwight (Tiwanna) Rogers: daughter, LaNette Adams; brother, Thadeous (Ada) Barnes; sister, Mary Jane; 12 grandchild­ren, 15 great-grandchild­ren and a host of other family and friends.

A walk through viewing (only) will be Friday 3:00-5:00 P.M. at Lyles Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.

AMBER NICOLE DRUMM

Amber Nicole Drumm was born September 2,1981 in Texarkana, Texas to Billy Drumm & Hollie LaBeff Drumm. On Saturday, December 11, 2021, Amber gained her wings and went to be with the Lord.

She graduated from Arkansas High School in 2000 and from Texarkana Community College in the top of her class for Cosmetolog­y.

Amber was preceded in death by her Great grandmothe­r Cleo Scott.

A legacy of life and love will forever be cherished in the hearts of: Sons, Cole Blake Drumm of Texarkana, TX.; and Kohyn Smith of Texarkana, AR.; Daughters: Mayhl Addison Drumm and Falisaty Smith of Texarkana, AR.; Mother: Hollie LaBeff Drumm of Texarkana, TX.; Father; Billy Drumm of Texarkana, AR.; Sisters: Shannon Drumm of Brazoria, TX and Whitney Drumm of Texarkana, AR.; Brother: Billy Drumm Jr. of Texarkana, AR., Maternal Grandparen­ts: Hollis (Janice) LaBeff of Texarkana, AR.; Nephew: Devin Drumm of Texarkana, AR., Niece: Cloie Drumm of Texarkana, AR.; Aunt: Michele McFaul of Texarkana, TX.; Uncle: Mike (Grace) LaBeff of Houston, TX.; Cousins: Nathan LaBeff and Nicole (Rev. Brian) Glenn of Texarkana, AR.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Memorial Service Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 2:00 PM at New Life Tabernacle Church, 1118 Wood Street, Texarkana, TX with Rev. Brian Glenn, Eulogist.

Paula Joyce Cook, age 62, of Texarkana, Texas passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021. Paula was born March 14, 1959. Services are pending with East Funeral Home.
