Betty Sue Sanders, age 81, of Texarkana, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 9, 2022.

Mrs. Sanders was born May 8, 1940, in Marked Tree, Arkansas. She was a very gifted artisan, Certificat­ed Public Accountant, entreprene­ur and an avid gardener. She was a committed and faithful member of the Community Bible Church of Love. Betty shared her many talents and gifts with her friends and family. She taught sign language, art classes and would sign Sunday mornings at church with the music.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Sanders, two sons, Charles Mays, and Greg Mays one brother, George Adkison and one sister, Annette Grigsby.

She is survived by three daughters, Sherry Mann of Alpharetta, Georgia; Debbie Bray of Bismarck, Arkansas; Tammy Parker of Texarkana, Arkansas; one son, Paul Mays of Savannah, Georgia; two stepchildr­en, Karen Wright of Syracuse, Utah; Scott Sanders of San Diego, California; one sister, Nancy Campbell, two brothers and two sister-inlaw, Larry and Vivian Adkison and Jimmy and Bobbie Adkison; one sister-in-law, Marlene Adkison; a host of grandchild­ren, great grandchild­ren, and a Multitude of friends.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 P. M. Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Community Bible Church of Love with Rev. Marc Sillivan officiatin­g. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Community Bible Church of Love, 2508 Rose Street, Texarkana, Arkansas 71854.
