Free Life Church hosts a concert and pre-show featuring a variety of artists beginning at 5:45 p.m. Feb. 25. Performers include The Hendrix Trio, Truth Infusion, The Hootens, X-Alt Quartet, Master Peace Quartet Reunioin and the GMA Choir. Admission is free, love offering will be accepted.

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES

New Beginning COGIC, Queen City, Texas, will have a Black History program, “Embracing Our Church of God In Christ Legacy” at 11:15 a.m. Feb. 26. The speaker will be Superintendent McCoy Murphy.

Sunset Missionary Baptist Church will have its first pastor anniversary service for J.L. Gillette at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. March 12. The special guests are Dr. Craig F. White of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church, Atlanta, Georgia, at 11 a.m., and Bishop Jeffery Thomas Sr. of Mount Rose Church, Dallas.
