Graveside services for Mrs. Melba Joyce (Williamson) Goff, 87, of Texarkana, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Stewart Cemetery in Tatum, Texas. Interment will follow under the direction of Crawford-a. Crim Funeral Home of Henderson.

Mrs. Goff went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 15, 2024. She was born February 16, 1937 in Tatum to Clarence Edward and Bonnie Ruth (Prather) Williamson. Melba lived and grew up in the Tatum area until her family moved to Longview where she graduated from Longview High School. She married Bill Goff in 1958, and the newlyweds moved to Rolla, Missouri where Bill worked for the U.S. Geological Survey. After a few years, they moved to Texarkana where she spent the remainder of her life. She had many hobbies including yardwork, shopping, watching Fox News, and playing piano. Melba also took great pleasure in traveling and going out to eat with her “Food Friends”. She was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church in Texarkana.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Bill Goff; her parents, Clarence and Bonnie Williamson; and her sister, Shirley Pickett.

She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Goff and wife Claudet of Houston, Bethany Goff Hanna and husband Trent of Wake Village; twin grandsons William Hanna and Benjamin Hanna; sister, Bette Hebbler of Austin; and her nephew, nieces, other family, and friends.
