Monday, Sept. 10

THEFT - A resident of Kuhars Way called around 11 a.m. to report that his Apple iPod Nano had been stolen from his vehicle sometime back in jay. The victim said he did not report the loss at the time of the theft, but had just received a letter from Apple stating that the iPod had been recovered.

ABANDONED CAo - Shortly after 2 p.m., the facilities manager at 100 Brandywine Boulevard called to inform police that there was a tan colored Subaru with New Jersey registrati­on that had been left in the parking lot for about a month. He asked that the registrati­on be checked in case it was stolen. The officer determined that it was not listed as stolen and advised the manager that since the vehicle was on private property the property owner could legally have it towed.

jISSINd iPAD - Around 3:30 p.m., a resident from Hunters Way came to police headquarte­rs to report that on Friday, Sept. 7 he placed his iPad on the roof of his vehicle and was unsure if he drove away with the iPad on the roof and it fell off or if it was taken by an unknown person(s). The iPad is black in color in a black case and is valued at $ 772.74

DrI CHAodES PENDINd - At approximat­ely 7:10 p.m. police responded to a traffic accident at the entrance to Tyler State Park off of oichboro ooad. rpon arrival, officers observed the vehicle on its side with fire coming out of its engine compartmen­t. The driver and passenger were both out of the vehicle and the fire department was on scene. Police determined that a 19-year-old female, and the passenger, a 16-year-old female, both from Levittown, determined that they had consumed alcohol, were visually intoxicate­d and giving the emergency workers a hard time. The passenger had minor injuries and was transporte­d to St. jary jedical Center by ambulance. The driver was detained and a portable breath test was administer­ed with positive results. She was transporte­d to St. jary jedical Center by police and submitted to a blood test. Charges are pending. Both were released to family members. PAoKINd VIOLATION A resident of Diamond Drive called police around 11:30 p.m. to report an unauthoriz­ed vehicle parked in the handicap parking space in front of his residence. An officer observed the violation and issued a parking ticket.

Tuesday, Sept. 11

jISSED BrS - Police were dispatched to the Bucks County Community College just after 2 a.m. for a report of a man found sleeping in one of the buildings. An officer met with security personnel and the man who provided his college ID and class schedule. It was determined that the student had missed his bus and then lost track of time waiting for the last bus. The officer transporte­d him to a bus stop off campus that would take him home.

Wednesday, Sept. 12

LOST WALLET

- At approximat­ely 8:45 p.m. a student of Bucks County Community College called police to report that she had lost her wallet while attending classes earlier in the day. She had already canceled her credit cards. The officer advised her to contact the Social Security Administra­tion to advise them that her card was missing. She was also advised to notify the three credit bureaus and to have them place flags on her credit report for fraudulent activity.

Friday, Sept. 14

LOST CoEDIT CAoD -A resident of Foxglove Court called police around 7:20 a.m. to report that her son lost his driver’s license and a credit in the area of the Village at Newtown Shopping Center. The caller told the officer that the credit card had been cancelled before any fraudulent activity was committed.

LOITEoINd TEENS - At approximat­ely 8:45 p.m. police were dispatched to the parking lot of the Village at Newtown South for complaints of large groups of juveniles loitering in the area. oesponding officers found two dumpsters had been turned over and the fencing around a constructi­on site had been disturbed. The teens were dispersed and officers continued to monitor the area.

Saturday, Sept. 15

DrI CHAodES PENDINd - Shortly before 2 a.m., police observed a vehicle on the shoulder of Sycamore Street. As the officer approached the car he observed that the right front wheel was damaged. When the officer made contact with the driver, he detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. The driver, a 27-year- old Philadelph­ia resident, provided her driver’s license and agreed to perform field sobriety tests. At the conclusion of the tests, the officer arrested her and took her to St. jary jedical Center to have blood drawn. The vehicle was towed from the scene and charges are pending the results of the blood submission­s.

rNDEoAdE DoINKINd - At approximat­ely 9 p.m. police were dispatched to the area of Durham ooad and Pine Lane in Wrightstow­n Township for a report that several juveniles were throwing glass bottles at passing motorists. rpon arrival officers located large amounts of glass on the roadway that appeared to be from liquor bottles. A nearby resident pointed an officer in the direction of the house where the teens ran after throwing the bottles. As officers approached the house they observed several juveniles flee towards the rear of the property. After all the juveniles were located, parents were notified and responded to pick up their children. Ten juveniles will receive citations charging them with underage drinking. One of the teens will also be charged with possession of alcohol while under the legal age. PennDOT responded to clean up the debris in the roadway.
