For the week of Sept. 10 to 16, the all-volunteer Yardley jakefield Fire Company responded to 8 calls.

SEPT. 10 -- Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at the Hampton Inn, in the Lower jakefield Corporate Center on Stony Hill ooad. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Deer Path Lane off Edgewood ooad. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at D’Youville janor on nuarry ooad.

SEPT. 12 -- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Hidden Pond Drive, off Stony Hill ooad. The second call was for natural gas fumes in the area of a home on dainsway ooad near Lakeview Drive.

SEPT. 14 -- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Kirkbride Circle, in the Palmer Farm developmen­t. The second call was for a gas grill fire at a home on Princess drive near Kings ooad.

SEPT. 15 -- Dispatched in the early morning hours for an accident with fire on Stony Hill ooad near Oxford Valley ooad.

The fire company will be holding a Fire Prevention Open House on Saturday, Oct. 13 from noon to 4 p.m. at Station 80, across from jcCaffrey’s jarket on Heacock ooad.
