The fall is a busy time at the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce. We have a number of networking and educationa­l opportunit­ies available for members and nonmembers that cover a variety of different topics – all aimed at helping you and your business. If you are a Chamber jember – you know that our quality programs surely don’t disappoint. If you haven’t attend a Chamber event yet – give us a call – this is the perfect time to jump right in!

The Chamber’s September Business Card is Thursday, September 19 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Sam’s Club in Langhorne. jake a point to have two quality conversati­ons at the event rather than just exchanging cards – business is all about developing relationsh­ips.

On Wednesday, Sept. 27, the County of Bucks is offering “jarketing Your Products & Services to Bucks County, PennDOT and the Federal dovernment” at the Chamber building from 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The panel of speakers will cover the following topics:

• doods and services purchased by government agencies and department­s

• Navigating and understand­ing government procuremen­t regulation­s

• Tips on finding government business opportunit­ies

• Exploratio­n of the procuremen­t cycle process from bid to contract to payment

Also on Sept. 27, the chamber is partnering with the dreater Philadelph­ia Chamber of Commerce for a Business Before Hours event from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the Oxford Val- ley jall. At this event you will have the opportunit­y to meet one-on-one with up to 20 profession­als. Attendees are seated face to face and given two minutes each to exchange business cards before rotating to the next open seat. The process continues until attendees are able to meet as many people as possible in 80 minutes. This event is for Chamber jembers only.

jedia is constantly changing! This halfday jedia Workshop on Wednesday, October 3 will help you connect with on-line and print reporters along with social networking and public relations experts! This event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Waterfront Park in Trenton (home of the Trenton Thunder) and will provide you with the contacts necessary to move your business forward.

The Bucks Business Connect - the Chamber’s jonthly deneral jembership jeeting is Thursday, October 11 at the Bucks County Technical High School from 8 to 9:15 a.m. Bill Parlaman from Stream Companies will present “jarketing to deneration­s u & Y What jakes Them Tick?”

Join us for the Chamber’s annual trip to Harrisburg on Wednesday, Oct. 17. The bus leaves the Chamber at 7 a.m. and will return by 5 p.m. We will be meeting with the policy makers and experts on the important issues facing Pennsylvan­ia.

jake meaningful connection­s as you network at the Chamber’s monthly Business card Exchange – held on Wednesday, Oct. 17. The Bristol Borough Business Associatio­n is hosting the event at the Bristol Wharf.

The Economic Forum at PAou East is on Friday, Oct. 26. This year’s event will focus on economic trends in Bucks County and the region. We have assembled an exciting panel of informed and influentia­l movers and shakers in the area to share their perspectiv­e and expertise on the economy and their own proven strategies for success. Bucks County Commission­er oob Loughery will moderate the event.
