More than 1,000 po­lice cars, am­bu­lances and fire trucks from Penn­syl­va­nia and New Jersey made the jour­ney on Sept. 19 from Ply­mouth Town­ship to the Wash­ing­ton Cross­ing Na­tional Ceme­tery in Up­per Makefield Town­ship - the fi­nal rest­ing place for slain Ply­mouth Town­ship Po­lice Depart­ment K-9 Of­fi­cer Bradley Fox. Fox, a seven year po­lice vet­eran with the Ply­mouth Town­ship Po­lice Depart­ment and a U.S. Marine who served two tours of duty in Iraq, was killed in the line of duty on Sept. 13 af­ter pur­su­ing a hit-and-run sus­pect. Mem­bers of the community, po­lice of­fi­cers, riders from the War­riors Watch, Up­per Makefield Fire Com­pany, Lin­go­hocken Fire Com­pany, and Yardley-Makefield Fire Com­pany lined the pro­ces­sion route along Lin­den­hurst Road pay­ing their fi­nal re­spects to Of­fi­cer Bradley.
