Newtown couple celebrates their golden anniversary

Jim and Ann (BoyceF Casey celebrated 50 years of Marriage on Saturday, Sept. 15. Born and raised in Philadelphia, they met in third grade at Nativity B.s.M. School in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia. After dating on and off for several years and when Jim returned home from the Army in 19S1, they were engaged and married at the Nativity B.s.M. Church in 19S2. They have been blessed with three children and seven grandchildren, all living in the Newtown and Holland area. A dinner with their children and grandchildren marked this special occasion.
