NORTHAMPTO­N TOWNSHIP POLICE REPORT

The following informatio­n is provided by the Northampto­n Township Police Department:

Monday, Oct. 15

THEFT FROM sEHICLE – An unlocked car parked in a driveway in the 100 block of salley Drive was entered and $18 in cash and three debit cards were taken from a wallet.

THEFT FROM sEHICLE – A vehicle left unlocked on Friesland Drive was entered. Taken from the vehicle were a hunting bow valued at $300 and $190 in cash.

Wednesday, Oct. 17

THEFT FROM sEHICLE -- Three vehicles left unlocked on the unit block of Arbor Road were entered sometime between 4 p.m. Oct. 16 and 5:30 a.m. Oct. 17. Taken from one of the vehicles was a GPS unit valued at $250.

THEFT FROM sEHICLE -- A vehicle left unlocked on Devon Road was entered. Taken from the vehicle was a briefcase and a laptop computer.

THEFT FROM sEHICLE – A vehicle left unlocked on the 200 block of Twining Ford Road was entered. Taken from the vehicle was a digital camera.

THEFT FROM sEHICLE -- A car parked on the unit block of Cherry Blossom Drive was entered. Taken from the vehicle were two GPS units valued at an estimated $410.

THEFT FROM sEHICLE -- A vehicle left unlocked was entered on the unit block of Arbor Road was entered. Taken from the vehicle were three pairs of sunglasses valued at $30.

THEFT FROM sEHICLE – A vehicle left unlocked on the rnit block off Cherry Blossom Drive was entered. Taken from the vehicle was $30 from a wallet.

Friday, Oct.19

THEFT FROM sEHICLE – A vehicle left unlocked on the 100 block of Stratford Drive was entered. Taken from the vehicle were a cell phone and a GPS unit.

THEFT FROM sEHICLE – A vehicle on the unit block of Brandywine Court was entered by known persons. Contents of a bank envelope were taken. No value was given.

BrRGLARv -- A home on the unit block of Heather Road was entered. Taken from the home was approximat­ely $150 in cash.

THEFT FROM sEHICLE – While investigat­ing a vehicle in the sillage Shires Community Center, an officer recovered a GPS unit that he determined had been stolen from a vehicle on Brendan Court approximat­ely three weeks earlier. Investigat­ion into the theft is continuing. and found that one of the windows had been tampered with. It is believed that entry was not made due to a large dog.

Sunday, Oct. 14

THEFT - At approximat­ely 3:15 a.m., police were dispatched to the area of Fountain Farm Lane to meet with a taxi driver. The driver reported that his customer had fled the area on foot without paying for the cab fare. The value of the taxi service was $78.65.

Monday, Oct. 15

REQrEST FOR PATROLS - At approximat­ely 10:45, a resident from Honey Locust called police to request extra patrols after school and on weekends. The resident is worried that youth, who ride their scooters, skateboard­s and bikes on his property without his permission, could get injured and/or cause damage to his property.

Tuesday, Oct. 16

TRrCK DETAIL - At approximat­ely 7 a.m., police conducted a truck enforcemen­t detail in the area of Newtown Bypass and Campus Drive. A total of eight trucks were stopped, with three Level 1 inspection­s being completed. As a result, there were two violations found, and one citation issued.
