Live theatre presentati­on of ‘The God Box’ to benefit St. Mary

The pt. Mary Medical Center coundation and The Community League of pt. Mary Medical Center invite the public to attend a benefit performanc­e by Mary Lou Quinlan’s one-woman show, “The God Box: A Daughter’s ptory.” The show takes place at the Newtown Theater, 1OM N. ptate ptreet, Newtown, on punday, Nov. 4 at O p.m. The play is based on Quinlan’s book, “The God Box,” in which she shares her mother’s gift of faith, love and letting go in a story about a discovery she, her father, and brother made in OMMS after her mother’s death.

Quinlan is a native Philadelph­ian and a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty and paint Joseph’s University, who splits her time between New York City and Bucks County. phe is performing “The God Box: A Daughter’s ptory” across the country to raise money for local charities. Proceeds raised from this show will be used for pt. Mary Medical Center’s Healing Ministries programs.

Greg Wozniak, president and chief executive officer of the Medical Center, which is mark- ing its 4Mth anniversar­y in OM13, will introduce Quinlan at the event.

“We are all looking forward to welcoming Mary Lou and our neighbors from the community to this performanc­e,” said Wozniak. “The God Box story is one that will resonate with everyone.”
