Should stores be open on Thanksgiving Day?

-

Mary VanPraet Yardley Borough No, absolutely not. I think that we should celebrate one holiday at a time. I hate that they start advertising for the next holiday before the other one has taken place.

Sara Rosamilia Newtown Township No. I don’t believe the stores should be open on Thanksgiving so that retail workers can enjoy the holiday with their family.

Jim Sanders Lower Makefield On Thanksgiving Day, I prefer that all stores be closed. All employees should have the time to be with family and friends. They should take one day off from making money.

Stephen Gana Washington Crossing No, I think there’s plenty of time to shop from midnight Thanksgiving night until Christmas.

Lower Makefield I think the stores should be closed on Thanksgiving so people can spend time with their families. There are plenty of alternatives like internet shopping to replace the need for stores to be open.

Rose Watt Lower Makefield On Thanksgiving Day, I do not. I think the workers deserve a break. I remember as a child there was nowhere to stop. That was delightful. There was no McDonald’s. No super sales.
