The fol­low­ing in­for­ma­tion is pro­vided by the New­town Town­ship Po­lice De­part­ment:

1EWT2W1 - 1ew­town Town­ship PoliFe are in­Yes­ti­gat­ing three bur­glar­ies in the 1ew­town Grant seF­tion of the town­ship.

2n 1oY. 19, poliFe said a res­i­dent from HyaFinth Court re­ported a bur­glary at their home. The res­i­dent Falled poliFe around 4:35 p.m. to report that the house was seFure when they left around 8 a.m. When they re­turned they found that a win­dow next to the rear door had been forFed open and some­one had been in the house.

2n 1oY. 23 at ap­prox­i­mately 9:35 p.m., poliFe said a res­i­dent from QuinFe CirFle re­ported that while they were away from their home for a few days unNnown per­sons forFed a side door open gain­ing en­try to their house.

2ffiFers FanYased the neigh­bor­hood and dis­FoYered that a seFond home on the street had been bur­glar­ized.

EaFh of the YiF­tims will proYide poliFe with a list of items that were stolen from their homes.

,n other re­ports, on Sun­day, 1oY. 25 shortly be­fore 1 p.m. poliFe were dis­patFhed to the PEC2 sub­sta­tion, loFated on Linton Hill 5oad, for the report of a theft of ap­prox­i­mately 25 feet of Fop­per Fa­ble. An of­fiFer met with a PEC2 em­ployee who dis­FoYered that a por­tion of the fenFe to the rear of the sub­sta­tion had been Fut proYid­ing aFFess to the Fop­per. ,t was unNnown when the theft oFFurred. The theft is un­der in­Yes­ti­ga­tion by town­ship de­teFtiYes.
