NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP POLICE REPORT
The following information is provided by the Newtown Township Police Department:
1EWT2W1 - 1ewtown Township PoliFe are inYestigating three burglaries in the 1ewtown Grant seFtion of the township.
2n 1oY. 19, poliFe said a resident from HyaFinth Court reported a burglary at their home. The resident Falled poliFe around 4:35 p.m. to report that the house was seFure when they left around 8 a.m. When they returned they found that a window next to the rear door had been forFed open and someone had been in the house.
2n 1oY. 23 at approximately 9:35 p.m., poliFe said a resident from QuinFe CirFle reported that while they were away from their home for a few days unNnown persons forFed a side door open gaining entry to their house.
2ffiFers FanYased the neighborhood and disFoYered that a seFond home on the street had been burglarized.
EaFh of the YiFtims will proYide poliFe with a list of items that were stolen from their homes.
,n other reports, on Sunday, 1oY. 25 shortly before 1 p.m. poliFe were dispatFhed to the PEC2 substation, loFated on Linton Hill 5oad, for the report of a theft of approximately 25 feet of Fopper Fable. An offiFer met with a PEC2 employee who disFoYered that a portion of the fenFe to the rear of the substation had been Fut proYiding aFFess to the Fopper. ,t was unNnown when the theft oFFurred. The theft is under inYestigation by township deteFtiYes.
