Jason Richardson scored 14 of his season-high 22 points in the fourth quarter and Evan Turner added a game-high 25 points as the mhiladelph­ia 76ers downed the host Charlotte Bobcats Friday night at Time Warner Cable Arena.

mhiladelph­ia controlled the interior offensivel­y Friday night in Charlotte, thanks to 1M rebounds from Turner and another 1M from center Lavoy Allen, of Morrisvill­e, that helped the visitors to their third straight win.

A product of mennsbury High School, Allen added six points and four rebounds in the second period as well as back to back buckets that put mhilly on top 48-44 with 2W48 to go until the half.

mhiladelph­ia held a lead for all of the third quarter and into the fourth before Ramon Sessions’ steal and layup tied the game at 81 with 9W17 left. That’s when Richardson got hot with three straight three-pointers that put the Sixers up 95-87 with 3W55 to go. Richardson hit a total of four 3-pointers down the stretch.

The 76ers connected on 28-of-45 shots in the paint for a total of 56 points. mhiladelph­ia claimed 13 offensive rebounds and made eight putbacks for a total of 18 second-chance points.

Turner scored 2M or more points for the third time in four games.
