Monday, Nov. 19

THEFT - At approximat­ely 9W1M a.m., an employee of Toll Brothers Constructi­on reported the theft of copper pipes from two homes under constructi­on on SebasWLDn $Oy. $n RIfiFHU PHW wLWK WKH HPSORyHH who related that on Saturday, Nov. 17 he received a call from a sub-contractor who LnIRUPHG KLP RI WKH WKHIW. 7KH RIfiFHU observed the two locations where copper pipes and wire had been stripped from the unsecure properties. The estimated value of the stolen property is placed at least $1,MMM.

Tuesday, Nov. 20

mEDESTRIAN STRrCh - Shortly after 7 p.m., police were dispatched to the area of Richboro Road near the Newtown Bypass for a report of a struck pedestrian. 7KH UHVSRnGLnJ RIfiFHU OHDUnHG WKDW D PDn was walking along the roadway and the mirror of a passing vehicle clipped him. The injuries to the pedestrian were not life threatenin­g. The accident is under investigat­ion.

THEFT - Just after 8 p.m., a resident of Williams Avenue in Wrightstow­n reported that a portable generator was stolen from his attached garage. The owner told an offiFHU WKDW WKH JHnHUDWRU wDV Ln WKH JDUDJH on Friday. He noticed that it was missing around 5 p.m. Tuesday evening. The estimated value is of the generator is $1,MMM.

Wednesday, Nov. 21

SrSmICIOrS SERVICE CALL - A resident of Sequoia Drive called police around 1M a.m. to report that she had received a call Tuesday evening from someone claiming to be from Comcast and telling her that there were signal problems at her residence and that they wanted to schedule a service call. The resident was not having any problems and felt that the call was strange. She called Comcast and was told there were no SUREOHPV Ln KHU DUHD. 7KH RIfiFHU OHDUnHG that it was a scam trying to sell gift cards.

SCRAmINd FOR METAL - molice were dispatched to a business located on Terry Drive at about 3 p.m. for a report that an unknown man was taking scrap metal from WKH SURSHUWy. $n RIfiFHU PHW wLWK HPSORyees who explained that no one was given permission to take the metal or be on the SURSHUWy. 7KH PDn WROG WKH RIfiFHU WKDW he believed the metal, valued at approximat­ely $3M, was being thrown away and that because it was not far from the curb line it would be all right for him to take it. The management of the business declined to press charges against the man with the understand­ing that he would not return to the location.

Thursday, Nov. 22

DrI ARREST - At approximat­ely 2W35 a.m. police observed a motorist commit D WUDIfiF YLRODWLRn DnG VWRSSHG KLP Ln WKH area of Mill mond and Buck roads. At the stop, the Newtown Township man who was driving was arrested and taken to St. Mary Medical Center to have blood drawn. DrI charges are pending the results of the tests. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Friday, Nov. 23

ATTEMmTED BREAh-IN - Around 5W3M a.m. police were dispatched to a home on Bayshore Drive for a burglar alarm. 7KH fiUVW RIfiFHU FKHFNHG WKH HxWHULRU RI WKH KRPH DnG GLVFRYHUHG WKDW D JURunG flRRU, side window had been tampered with, but it did not appear that entry into the home was made. The homeowner was not home at the time, but came home to walk through WKH KRuVH wLWK SROLFH Ln RUGHU WR FRnfiUP that entry was not made into the home.

Sunday, Nov. 25

DrI ARREST - Shortly after 4 a.m. SROLFH LnLWLDWHG D WUDIfiF VWRS Ln WKH DUHD of Short Lane after observing a motorist FRPPLW D WUDIfiF YLRODWLRn. $W WKH VWRS WKH driver, a 23-year-old mhiladelph­ia man was taken into custody and transporte­d to St. Mary Medical Center for blood testing. molice said he refused the chemical test. DrI charges are pending and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

AFTER HOrRS mARhINd -At about 10:30 S.P. Dn RIfiFHU SDWUROOLnJ WKH DUHD of the Newtown drant Recreation Center observed an occupied vehicle and approached the two adults inside the car. The occupants were advised that they should not be on the property after hours so they left without incident.

Monday, Nov. 26

CREDIT CARD FRArD - molice were dispatched to a home on Bayshore Drive around 11W1M a.m. after a resident called to report credit card fraud. The resident WROG Dn RIfiFHU WKDW KLV FUHGLW FDUG FRPSDny nRWLfiHG KLP RI VuVSLFLRuV DFWLYLWy Rn KLV account in an amount of approximat­ely $67,MMM. The account has been canceled and the investigat­ion turned over to detectives.

VANDALISM - Around 2W3M p.m. police responded to the Bucks County Community College for a complaint of vandalism to artwork. The director of security at WKH VFKRRO PHW SROLFH DnG VKRwHG WKH RIficer the damage. Someone had used a sharp implement intentiona­lly to deface a plaster statue, which is valued at $5MM.

BrRdLARY - Shortly before 6 p.m. police responded to Liberty Drive for a report of a burglary that occurred sometime durLnJ WKH GDy. 7KH UHVLGHnW WROG RIfiFHUV WKDW no one was home between 1W3M and 3W3M p.m. and she noticed jewelry missing and the basement door not functionin­g properly. The resident said no one was home beWwHHn 1:30 DnG 3:30 S.P. 2IfiFHUV FKHFNHG the interior of the house. The investigat­ion has been turned over to detectives.

VANDALISM - 1MM block of Orthodox Drive. A homeowner reported hearing something hit her front door between four DnG fiYH WLPHV. 2n LnVSHFWLRn VKH IRunG WKH home had been egged.

Wednesday, Nov. 21

THEFT FROM VEHICLE - The victim reported having parked her car in a family member’s driveway, leaving it unlocked, on Bluebird Road. When she returned to the vehicle she found her dmS navigation device had been taken along with a tablet computer. No value was given for the stolen items.

Sunday, Nov. 25

DrI-RELATED TRAFFIC ACCIDENT - $ PRWRULVW UHSRUWHG wLWnHVVLnJ D WUDIfiF accident on Chinquapin Road off of Buck Road where a vehicle struck a utility pole and then sped the scene. The striking vehicle reportedly became disabled off of BULVWRO 5RDG. 2IfiFHUV ORFDWHG WKH YHKLFOH with extensive damage in a wooded area on Bristol Road near Murray Road. The vehicle’s registered owner, William Hatter, 43, of Southampto­n was located at his home, near where the vehicle was found and admitted to having been driving. Based Rn WKH RIfiFHU’V REVHUYDWLR­nV, HDWWHU wDV taken into custody on suspicion of having EHHn GULYLnJ wKLOH unGHU WKH LnfluHnFH. HH was transporte­d to the St. Mary Medical Center where samples of his blood were obtained for analysis. After processing at police headquarte­rs, he was released into the care of a family member. Charges relating to DrI are pending the lab report.

Based on observatio­ns, along with the driver’s inability to VuFFHVVIuO­Oy FRPSOHWH D VHULHV RI fiHOG GHxterity tests, Walsh was taken into custody on suspicion of having been driving while unGHU WKH LnfluHnFH. HH wDV WUDnVSRUWH­G to the St. Mary Medical Center where samples of his blood were obtained for analysis. After processing at police headquarte­rs, he was released into the care of a family member. Charges relating to DrI are pending the lab report.
