Gun­man hits two busi­nesses

On Dec. 10, a man dressed in black held up the Mail-N-More Store in the LRwHr 0DNH­fiHOG SKRSSLnJ CHnWHr Rn SWRny HLOO 5RDG. A lit­tle more than 24 hours later, a man, also dressed in black and bran­dish­ing a gun robbed the Luk-Oil gas sta­tion in Langhorne Bor­ough

“There may be a con­nec­tion. We’re not sure yet,” sDLG LRwHr 0DNH­fiHOG 3ROLFH CKLHI .Hn CROuzzL. “Our de­tec­tives are talk­ing to (Langhorne). We’re look­ing at the cir­cum­stances at how that hap­pened, try­ing to get video,” said the chief. “We can’t say for cer­tain at this point that it is but they are look­ing at it.”

CROuzzL sDLG DW DERuW 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 10, a man en­tered a side door at MailN-More just as em­ploy­ees were get­ting ready to close the store for the day.

The man pointed a gun at two em­ploy­ees and de­manded money. He then flHG IrRP WKH EuLOGLnJ through the same door with about $400 in cash, said the chief.

“No one was in­jured WKDnNIuOOy,” sDLG CROuzzL.

2IfiFHrs wLWK WKH GHSDrW­ment’s ca­nine unit at­tempted to track the gun­man for sev­eral blocks be­fore los­ing the track. “That’s an in­di­ca­tion he prob­a­bly got into a YHKLFOH,” sDLG CROuzzL.

The man, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, was dressed in black and wear­ing a “hood mask” that cov­ered ev­ery- thing but CROuzzL.

Po­lice are re­view­ing se­cu­rity cam­eras at the store to see what they re­veal, said the chief.

On Dec. 11 at about 9 or 9W30 p.m., Langhorne BorRuJK 3ROLFH CKLHI SWHYH Mawhin­ney told Buck­sLo­cal­News that a man bran­dish­ing a hand­gun and dressed in black en­tered the store at Pine Street and Maple Av­enue and de­manded money. He got away with a small amount of cash.

“It’s very rare that we have a rob­bery here,” said Mawhin­ney.
