Congregati­on Brothers of Israel, 530 Washington Crossing Road, Newtown, will hold Sabbath Services on Friday, Jan. 11 at 8 p.m., followed by an Oneg Shabbat; Services on Saturday, Jan. 12 are at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Kiddush. Jr. Congregati­on for students in second - sixth grades will be held at 10:00 a.m.. Regular Religious School Classes will meet on Sunday, Jan. 13 at 9:15 a.m. and the Men’s Club Minyan Program will be held at 9:20 a.m. Celebratio­n Station will be held from 10 a.m. - noon. All pre-school aged children with an adult ‘buddy’ are invited to join in ‘A Tree-Mendous Birthday Party’ – the birthday of the trees – Tu B’Shevat. This program is open to the entire community. Synagogue membership is not required. The Leisure Club for adults 50 and over will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 10:30 a.m. for exercise club followed by lunch and entertainm­ent. The Synagogue’s Executive Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. “Moonbeams,” the Women’s Rosh Hodesh Group sponsored by Sisterhood, will meet at 6:30 p.m. for a light supper and a tribute to ‘Women of Valor’ at the Wolfson-Leventhal home in Langhorne. On Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 11 a.m. Rabbi Philmus will hold a Talmud Class.
