Allan Weisel will not seek re-election to school board

PENNSBURv - Allan Weisel, president of the Pennsbury School Board, has announced that he will not seek re-election in the upcoming primary election.

“It was my intention to serve the public for four years,” said Weisel, who was elected in 2009.

“jy opinions and votes have been my own and I have made my best efforts to bring about fiscal responsibility and protect the citizens from tax increases while maintaining my focus on improving the quality of Pennsbury education,” he continued. “It has been my honor and privilege to serve for four years and particularly in the role as board president.”

Weisel, a resident of Lower jakefield Township, is president of Weisel Associates Inc.
