The fol­low­ing in­for­ma­tion is pro­vided by the New­town Town­ship Po­lice De­part­ment:

Fri­day, March 15

NOISE COM­PLAINT - Po­lice were dis­patched to the area of Crittenden arive around 9:40 p.m. for a com­plaint of teenagers be­ing loud at the play­ground. The re­spond­ing of­fi­cer lo­cated six teens who were co­op­er­a­tive and agreed to leave the area with­out fur­ther in­ci­dent.

Sun­day, March 17

MAN SLUMPEa OsER STEER­ING WHEEL - At ap­prox­i­mately 2:50 a.m. po­lice re­sponded to the 7-11 on Sy­camore Street for a report of a man slumped over the steer­ing wheel of a ve­hi­cle in the park­ing lot. The re­spond­ing of­fi­cer spoke with the man and de­tected an odor of al­co­hol. A por­ta­ble breath test was ad­min­is­tered which pro­vided a re­sult un­der the le­gal limit to drive. The 57-year-old New Jersey man told po­lice that he had called friends to pick him up at the lo­ca­tion. The of­fi­cer re­mained at the lo­ca­tion un­til the man and his ve­hi­cle were re­moved from the park­ing lot.

Mon­day, March 18

aUI PENaING - Shortly be­fore 2 a.m. an of­fi­cer ob­served a mo­torist com­mit mo­tor ve­hi­cle vi­o­la­tions. The mo­torist was stopped on the New­town By­pass near Rich­boro Road and the driver, Re­becca Nei­theimer, 25, of Parkview Way in New­town Town­ship was taken into cus­tody for driv­ing un­der the in­flu­ence of al­co­hol. She was trans­ported to St. Mary Med­i­cal Cen­ter to have blood drawn for test­ing. Charges are pend­ing the re­sults of the lab submission.

Wed­nes­day, March 13

THEFT FROM sE­HI­CLE - At ap­prox­i­mately 8:30 a.m. a res­i­dent of Ma­hogany Walk called to report that some­one en­tered her ve­hi­cle overnight and took a Sir­ius uM Ra­dio and a GPS Unit. The vic­tim was un­sure if the ve­hi­cle was locked at the time of the theft, and the value of the stolen prop­erty was not pro­vided to po­lice.
