I wanted to give an update on what Ls hDSSHnLng DW WhH RrgDnLzDWLRn WhDW will move us forward as a leader and driving force for business and econRPLF GHvHORSPHnW. ThHrH Ls GHfinLWHOy D Euzz Ln WhH EusLnHss FRPmunity about all the changes that have occurred at the Chamber over the past few months. These changes may appear to be drastic, radical and many of them are, but the reason for the changes are all strategic.
The Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce is a networking machine, but it is also repositioning itself to be an advocate for businHssHs RI DOO WySHs DnG sLzHs. :H DrH promoting education and life-long learning. We are reformulating how we develop as leaders. We are reaching out to constituents whose relationships with us can be stronger and more viable. We are developing new HIfiFLHnFLHs IRr DGvRFDFy DnG nHw sWrDWHgLHs IRr DGvRFDFy. Our entire focus is on value to our members. I hope memEHrs DnG nRn-PHPEHrs DrH sHHLng WhDW WhH EDr hDs GHfinLWHOy EHHn rDLsHG Rn DOO RI Rur HvHnWs. Our events all have a purpose. Any event that we plan is absolutely in line with our mission. With that said I want to take this opportunity to talk about the Bucks County Ball. ThLs HvHnW Ls WhH firsW RI LWs kLnG IRr WhLs &hDPEHr. ThH OHvHO of support and sponsorships we are already seeing is very HxFLWLng. ,W Ls DOsR HnFRurDgLng WR sHH hRw WhLs HvHnW Ls FRPing together as one of the largest events in the County. So what is the purpose? I have had several people question me Rn why WhLs HvHnW Ls sR LPSRrWDnW WR us DnG hRw GRHs LW fiW Ln wLWh Rur PLssLRn. ThH BDOO wLOO GHfinLWHOy EH D SDrWy. ,W wLOO be a spectacular evening of showcasing wonderful food and entertainment. The partnerships that have come together to SODn WhLs HvHnW DrH FROODERrDWLvH DnG vLsLRnDry. YHs, LW wLOO be a spectacular party but it is also an opportunity to bring the entire business community together at one time. Local business drives economic development. The Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce supports free enterprise and values the power of networking and pulling the business community together as a powerful force. This event is an opportunity to bring together all the local chambers, business networking groups, service groups and all other business orgDnLzDWLRns DW D sLngOH HvHnW. ThLs HvHnW DOsR wHOFRPHs WhH FOLHnWs DnG FusWRPHrs RI DOO RI WhRsH RrgDnLzDWLRns DnG FRPpanies. Our mission statements may vary but we are all vested in having a thriving economy that takes our quality of life in Bucks County to a new level.
