Frank finishes first in golf tourney

PENNSArKEN – Pennsauken Country Club hosted the Philadelph­ia gunior Tour on Tuesday, guly 9 as 8R junior golfers made their way to the par TM, 6,ON3L6,MOTLR,4M8 yard township-owned course on a day that started with partly cloudy skies and temperatur­es in the mid 8Ms. The conditions became more humid as the day went on and temperatur­es increased with highs in the low 9Ms.

In the Boys N6-N8 Division, Bradley Frank, of Newtown, came in with a score of T3 (H3) to take the Nst place prize. Frank had three birdies on the day, which helped him to secure the top spot. Coming in second place with a score of T6 (H6) was Eric Reisner, of Gladwyne. Evan Lebo, of eolland, took the third place prize by shooting a round of TT (HT).

Ben Litt (Moorestown, Ng) took first place in the Boys N3-NR Division by posting a score of T4 (H4). Litt (Moorestown, Ng) had two birdies throughout his round. Coming in a tie for second with matching rounds of TT (HT) was nuinn Guzman (Souderton) and gack eirsh (sillanova). A scorecard playoff was needed to determine second and third place. Guzman (Souderton) took the second place honor, with eirsh (sillanova) finishing in third.

In the Girls N6-N8 Division, Kyra Denish (Cherry eill) came in first place with a score of 89 (HN9). Denish (Cherry eill) had N birdie on the day and it was to start her day on the par 4, Nst hole. Coming in second place with a 9N (HON) was Elizabeth Koloski, of Newtown). There was a tie for third place between Sharon Nam (East Norriton) and Ashley Teufel, of eolland, who had matching rounds of NMN (H3N). Teufel won the scorecard playoff by shooting a 49 (HN4) on the back 9.

The Girls N3-NR Division winner was Melissa Landis (Philadelph­ia) played smart coming in with 8T (HNT). Landis (Philadelph­ia) had a round that included back-toback birdies on holes NO and N3. Rebecca Reilly (Willow Grove, PA) Finished in second place with a round of NNN (H4N). Coming in third place in her division was Caitlin Bullock (Wayne) with a round of NN6 (H46).

Austin Barbin (Elkton, MD) shot a 9-hole score of 4M (HR) to come in Nstin the NO C rnder (Boys C Girls) Division. Barbin (Elkton, MD) had five pars on the front at Pennsauken CC to lead the pack. Second place went to Esther Park (Wilmington), who came in with a round of 4N (H6). The third place position saw a tie between Liam eart (eolland) and Dolan Cox (Newtown Square). After a scorecard playoff, Cox came out as the third place finisher.
