The Valie Genuardi Hobbit House Early Learning Center at Gwynedd-Mercy College will hold its fall open house Aug. 15 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Preschoola­ged children and their parents are invited to tour the facilities and sample the curriculum. The Hobbit House provides a nurturing atmosphere for children to develop the social and academic skills necessary for elementary school.
