Daniel Kaercher Millington, U9, of Castle Rock, Colo., formerly of Salem, Va., and North Hills, Pa., went home to be with the Lord on Thur s d a y, Aug. 30, 2012.

Mr. Millington graduated from Penn State with a degree in engineerin­g and was retired from Bell of Pennsylvan­ia. He had served as a lieutenant JG in the r.S. Navy during World War II and had been a Masonic past worshipful master of Solomon’s Lodge No. 3.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty “Peg” Millington. He was the son of the late William and Anna EBast) Millington.

His surviving family includes his children, Diann Sander, Louise Caudill and husband Roger, and Daniel Millington and wife Debbie; grandchild­ren Erik Sander, Danielle Caudill-Wentz and Garrett Caudill, and Daniel, Joshua, Katie and Jacob Millington; and great-grandchild­ren Samantha and Luke Millington.

A gathering will take place Friday, Sept. 7, from noon to 12:30 p.m. in Whitemarsh Memorial Park Chapel in Ambler, Pa. A committal service will begin at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Henrik 6RnnWDJ RIfiFLDWLn­J.
