Archangelo Acierno
athlete in both football and lacrosse. He became Construction Engineer for the United States Postal Service. He retired as a regional director in charge of constructing and maintaining all the SRVW RIfiFH EuLOGLnJV Ln WKH Northeast region of the United States. Archie served his country in World War II in the United States Navy, on the battleship U.S.S. Tuscaloosa.
Archie is survived by his devoted wife Helen (Kolodgie), to whom he was married for 65 years; his children Patricia (Roy) Hanshaw, Richard (Lorraine), Debra (Ray) Yoder, Donna and Archie. “Pop Pop” is also survived by eight grandchildren, Patricia Denise, Ray, Stephanie, Brian, Richard, P.J., Michael and Brandon; and fiYH JUHDW-JUDnGFKLOGUHn, who affectionately referred to him as “Poppy.” Archie is also survived by his sister, Ann Belardi, Scranton; brother late Gaetano (Angela Barbera); maternal aunt Genevieve Capone DeLuca; and sister-in-law Dolores Kolodgie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Archie will be missed by all.
