Josephine G. Labois­son­niere, 94, passed away on Wed­nes­day, Oct. 17, 2012, at Brandy­wine As­sisted Liv­ing in Shrews­bury.

She lived in Shrews­bury all her life. Josephine grad­u­ated from Red Bank Catholic High School in 1936 and Drakes Busi­ness Col­lege in 1938. She was pre­vi­ously em­ployed as a pro­cure­ment clerk at Fort Mon­mouth un­til mar­riage. She was a mem­ber of the Shrews­bury Se­nior Home­stead­ers, the bowl­ing league and the Schuss­boomers Ski Club for more than 30 years. She skied throughout the North­east states, Canada and Switzer­land. She was an avid Mets fan. Josephine loved to travel with her hus­band, Gene, and with their van they went cross-county. They also vis­ited Florida, Italy, Spain, and Jerusalem.

Josephine was a res­i­dent of Brandy­wine As­sisted Liv­ing since July 2007. A spe­cial thanks to the nurses, care givers, and friends she made there. She loved all the ac­tiv­i­ties, es­pe­cially play­ing bingo.

She is pre­de­ceased by her hus­band, Eu­gene W. Labois­son­niere; brother Pasqual To­maino and sis­ter Mary P. To­maino. Sur­viv­ing are her three daugh­ters, Mary Jean and her hus­band, Alan Stark, of Penn­syl­va­nia, Roberta and her hus­band, John Fra­gale, of Bayville and Eu­ge­nia Labois­son­niere of Gal­loway Town­ship; her brother Alphonse To­maino of Red Bank; and her grand­chil­dren, Daniel and Jonathan Stark and Jen­nifer and Steve Fra­gale. She is also sur­vived by two neph­ews, one niece and a few cousins.

A visi­ta­tion was held at the John E. Day Funeral Home on Fri­day, Oct. 19, 2012, from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Chris­tian Burial was cel­e­brated at St. An­thony of Padua RC Church on Satur­day, Oct. 20, 2012, at 9 a.m. In­ter­ment fol­lowed at Shrews­bury Pres­by­te­rian Ceme­tery.
