Here are places around the state where you can glimpse the past. yond the mining story, the exhibit presents a wider perspective of how the nation's ravenous demand for copper affected the mining industry throughout the West.
The museum captures the many facets of Bisbee's colorful past. During its boom years, Bisbee was one of the largest cities between San Francisco and New Orleans. It was home to more than 9,000 residents in 1910. The “Urban Outpost” exhibit documents the blending of cultures and ethnicities from that bygone era, when the latest fashions could be purchased just steps from the raucous crowds of Brewery Gulch.

The museum has teamed up with nearby Lowell Observatory and Meteor Crater for the Exploration Pass program. Users receive a $2 discount at each venue. The discount passes are available at each location and at the Flagstaff Visitor Center downtown but cannot be used on the spot. Pick one up before your visit.
