The Arizona Republic

Arizonans great, but a little careless about car seats

-

We just wanted to thank everyone in Arizona for the wonderful treatment that everyone has shown us since we moved here from Chicago after spending over 57 years there.

It is like culture shock to us how friendly everyone is by just saying hi as they pass or holding a door open for someone coming in. Such a difference than what we were used to in Chicago with people only caring about themselves and not others.

There is one favor we would ask of drivers with kids in their cars: Kids should be buckled at all times.

We have never seen so many drivers with kids not sitting and buckled in their seats in a moving car. Children are our future, lets not cut our future short!

Yes, we have freedom of expression in this country, and I’m glad we do. But just because something is legal, doesn’t mean that it’s always the smart thing to do. The whole thing was a huge example of bad judgment.

Many more people could have been killed or injured if more than two gunmen had showed up. You would hope that people have better things to do than insult other people’s religions. As we’ve seen, the reactions can be extreme, and at the price of human lives.

And so the cops had to protect the morons in Garland, Texas

tance.

For those tourists who complain about Phoenix Sky Harbor, please, when you find an airport with no extra airport fees, please post it in this paper. I would love to book a flight there just for the sake of renting a car without extra fees.

Help me understand the convoluted logic of immigration

I want to make sure I understand. A kid born in Mexico and who crosses the border illegally gets in-state tuition. A kid born in New Mexico, that crosses the border legally, has to pay out of state tuition?
