Roger Doyon passed away on March 20, 2017 at the age of 78. Roger was born January 29, 1939 in Waterbury CT. and moved to Phoenix in 1974. He was a proud member of Arizona Pipe Trades UA Local Union 469, certified in pipefitting, plumbing and orbital welding. He enjoyed hiking, volunteering at North Mountain Visitors Center, riding his Harley Davidson, and training his Therapy and Search & Rescue dog, and constant companion, Jazz. He is preceded in death by parents, Ulric and Rolande Doyon, sister Rita Karas and son Stephen. He is survived by his wife Virginia (Druan) Doyon, his children Michael Doyon and Karen Lord (Bill), grandchildren, Tyler and Kourntey Doyon, Lauren, Will and Deanna Lord and brother Ron (Jackie) Doyon. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00PM Monday, March 27, 2017 at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary, 6500 E. Bell Rd, Scottsdale. A funeral mass will be held at St. Bernadette Catholic Church 16235 N. 60th Street, Scottsdale, on Tuesday, March 28 at 1:00PM, followed by internment at Holy Redeemer Cemetery 23015 N. Cave Creek Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Huger Mercy Living Center, 2345 W Orangewood Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85021, or the North Mountain Visitor Center 12950 N. 7th St. Phoenix, AZ 85022.
