KISS, Phil Vassar among Laughlin concerts this spring
Resort Don’s Hotel Laughlin’s& Casino Riversideand the Laughlin Event Center are thrilled to feature topname entertainment this coming spring and summer. From April 6 – 8, enjoy the rustic music of Billy Bob Thornton & the Boxmasters. From June 16 – 17, the renowned country music artist, Phil Vassar, will be playing all his greatest hits. On Saturday, April 22, the legendary band, KISS, will be performing at the Laughlin Event Center. Mixing country rock and rockabilly music, Academy Award-winner Billy Bob Thornton and his band, the Boxmasters, have been featured on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and “Live with Regis & Kelly.” Along with music written by Billy Bob Thornton himself, this unique band plays Americanized covers of British Invasion bands like the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, with their own southern twist. In his long-running career, Phil Vassar has released eight albums, earning him two ASCAP Songwriter of the Year awards, a Billboard Country Songwriter of the Year award, and countless hits as both a singer and songwriter. Phil Vassar will be playing his greatest songs such as “Carlene,” “Last Day of My Life,” “American Child,” “In a Real Love,” and “Just Another Day in Paradise.” As America’s No. 1 Gold Record Award-winning group of all time, KISS is one of rock’s most dominant bands, making their debut in Laughlin on Saturday, April 22. The Riverside Resort will be offering transportation to and from the Laughlin Event Center so that guests can enjoy KISS without worry.
