Mesa dining room (67 W. Broadway Road, Mesa): Heat-relief hours 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30-11:30 a.m. Sunday and Monday. Regular meal hours 9:30-11:30 a.m. (brunch) seven days a week.

Sunnyslope dining room (9227 N. 10th Ave., Phoenix): Heat-relief hours 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday, noon-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Regular meal hours 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (lunch) Monday through Friday and 4:30-5:30 p.m. (dinner) seven days a week.

Phoenix dining room (1075 W. Jackson St., Phoenix): Heat-relief hours 1:30-5 p.m. seven days a week. Regular meal hours 7-8 a.m. breakfast Monday through Friday and 11 a.m.-12:45 p.m. (lunch) seven days a week.

The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army’s Red Shield Survival Squad will be activating 14 heat-relief stations throughout the Valley and a mobile hydration unit to serve people living on the streets during the excessive heat.

The Salvation Army’s Family Services Office at 2707 E. Van Buren St. will be open to provide heat-relief services from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. over the weekend and from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekdays.

The following heat-relief stations will provide service from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. every day throughout the excessive heat warning:

» Eastlake Park (southwest corner of East Jefferson Street and South 16th Street, Phoenix)

» Estrella Mountain Corps (11 N. Third Ave., Avondale)

» Glendale Corps (6010 W. Northern Ave.)

» Mesa Corps (241 E. Sixth St.)

» Phoenix Central Corps (4343 N. 16th St.)

» Phoenix Citadel Corps (628 N. Third Ave.)

» Phoenix Kroc Center (1375 E. Broadway Road)

» Maryvale Corps (4318 W. Clarendon Ave., Phoenix)

» Sun Cities West Valley Corps (17420 N. Avenue of the Arts Blvd., Surprise)

» Tempe Corps (40 E. University Drive)

» Valley of the Sun Korean Corps (7238 N. 61st Ave., Glendale)

The non-profit said it’s in need of monetary donations as well as donations of sunscreen, SPF lip balm, hats, bandannas, cooling towels and bottled water (16.9 ounces) to maintain the relief stations. Those interested are asked to contact Edward Salazar at edward.salazar@usw.salvationa­rmy.org.
