Ajit Kaur Pujji, 82, of Avondale, AZ passed away September 23, 2017. She was born March 13, 1935 in Lahore, India to father, Labh Singh and mother, Ramrukhy Kaur. Ajit graduated from Punjab University (Honors Punjabi) and was a skilled career woman who achieved excellence and mastery in various industries including textiles, manufactur­ing and electronic­s before retiring to be a homemaker. She married Gurdeep Singh Pujji in Jalandur, India on December 6, 1961. Together they had an incredible journey, always moving west from India to England, to New York, finally settling in Arizona. In each place, she left a lasting and loving impression on all who met her. Ajit belonged to Guru Nanak Dwara in Phoenix, AZ and Nishkam Seva Gurudwara Sahib in Glendale, AZ as places of worship as well as the Golden Punjabi Society. She is survived by her husband, Gurdeep, of Avondale, AZ; her sons Sanjeevan Singh Pujji of La Verne, CA and Mandeepak Singh Pujji of Palo Alto, CA; Daughters-in-law Anu and Manjit; grandchild­ren Nikki, Karanjeet, Simran and Keerath; sister, Surinder Kaur of Stony Brook, NY; and many cherished nieces and nephews around the world.
