Ponsolle, Scott Anthony

-

Scott Anthony Ponsolle, 29 of Phoenix, AZ departed this world on September 24, 2017. He was born on June 28, 1988 to loving parents Gigi (nee Gallo) and the late Scott Allen Ponsolle. Scott was a loving father to daughter Zoey and could often be found attending a tea party, playing the part of the beast, or sporting sparkly pink fingernails. Scott was a complex man who enjoyed spending time with his daughter Zoey and his love, Ashley Alderson. He was an incredibly deep thinker and loved nothing more than a good philosophical argument. Scott had a beautiful singing voice and loved playing guitar. He also enjoyed the natural desert wilderness, camping, gathering with friends and family to grill and cook gourmet meals, and anything wrapped in bacon. In 2012, Scott tragically lost his only sister, Stephanie Ponsolle. Scott and Stephanie shared a special bond, and he was greatly affected by her untimely passing. Scott is survived by his loving brothers, Spencer and Stephan Ponsolle. In 2015, Scott discovered another brother, Matthew Dunbar. Scott and Matt quickly developed a close bond and found they shared many of the same interests and hobbies. His newfound brother was a great source of comfort to Scott. Scott was the cherished grandson of Bonnie Runik-Piehl, and the beloved nephew of Phil (Mary) Gallo, Colleen (Brian) Risko, Toni (Robert) Winke, Terri Gallo, Yvonne (John) Holcomb, Matthew (Glenda) Ponsolle, Michael (Danneet) Ponsolle, and Ellen Runik Jones. He will be greatly missed by his closest cousins, Gena Winke, Alicia Gehrke, Ashley (Larry) Mesch, Carrie (James) Gallo-Ihssen, Christopher and Matthew Gotski, Gabriella Davidson, Travis Jones, and Alyssa, Samantha, Michala, Ninette, and Rachael Ponsolle. Scott was preceded in death by his beloved sister Stephanie Ponsolle, his loving father, Scott Allen Ponsolle, grandparents Gene and Gisele Gallo, and grandfathers James Runik and Donald Ponsolle. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday September 29th at Pure Heart Church, 14240 N 43rd Ave, Glendale, AZ. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family through a Go Fund Me page set up to honor Scott’s memory.
