Reynolds, Ruby Joyce

Reynolds, Ruby Joyce age 79 of Scottsdale Arizona passed away peacefully on October 7, 2017 at home with family by her side. Ruby was born in Hardin Montana on January 10, 1938 to the late Audrey and Roy Sherman. In Glendale California in 1951, a handsome Air Force Crew Chief, Earl Reynolds, whistled at her and swept her off her feet. It didn’t take long for her to realize that he was the love of her life and they were happily married a few years later. They moved to Phoenix and had two wonderful children, son Melvin and daughter Earlene. While raising two children (and at times, Earl), she found the time to be an avid bowler and a distributor for Avon. Ruby enjoyed sewing, baking and photography. She was very talented photographer and could always be found with a camera around her neck while sporting her unmistakable beehive hairdo. Ruby is survived by her loving family, son Melvin George Reynolds (Linda), daughter Earlene Reynolds Brock (Dale), sister Margaret Corley, four grandchildren, Audrey Joyce (Sean) Knapp, Ashley Joy (Corey) Biron, Carly Jestean Brock, Justin Earl James Reynolds and two great-grandchildren, Meeka Joy and Fenimore Pete Biron. Family kept her busy enjoying all that life had to offer. The family would like to extend a sincere Thank You to the kind and loving staff at Hospice of the Valley. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 1pm at Messinger Indian School Mortuary, 7601 East Indian School, in Scottsdale Arizona, 85251.
