Phoenix Rising FC makes deal to acquire FC Tucson

Phoenix Rising FC has acquired FC Tucson of the Premier Development League, a tier below United Soccer League in the U.S. soccer system.

“By acquiring FC Tucson, in addition to our partnership with Arizona Youth Soccer Association, we believe we’re building a pipeline from the youth level to the professional level that will rival other states in the country,” Phoenix Rising FC Club Governor Berke Bakay said in a statement. Phoenix Rising FC takes over Tucson operations effective immediately.
