Chow-Lab mix Hope living up to her name

-

Hope has lived in shelters for nearly three years. That’s just about her whole life. She came to the Arizona Humane Society in August after a local rescue closed its doors.

Several pets were taken in that day, and all found new homes. Hope is still waiting for a place to call home.

To help ease her loneliness and depression, volunteers took the chummy Chow and Labrador mix for a day out on the town. Hope was a gem and her tail never stopped wagging as she received a relaxing doggy massage, a bubble bath, a blueberry facial, a pawdicure, and a yummy Starbucks puppuccino. Time out of the kennel did wonders for the 3-year-old’s morale and she longs for a forever home.

Stress from a life lived in a kennel has caused hair loss, but her condition is sure to resolve once she’s out of the shelter environment. In the meantime, Hope looks fabulous in a fancy dog sweater and scarf.

She’s housetrained, would love a yard to play in, and enjoys walks and car rides. She would love to be your one and only canine friend.

Meet Hope on Sunday at noon at the Arizona Humane Society located at 9226 N. 13th Ave. in Phoenix. Her adoption fee is $50 and includes her spay surgery, vaccinations, and a microchip. For more information call 602-997-7585 and ask for animal number A561219.

Previous Pet: Jerome, the German Shepherd, is still waiting for a home. Call and ask for animal number A567583.
