Dale was born in South Amherst, OH on March 20th, 1941. The family settled in AZ in 1955. He attended Phoenix Union High School and was involved in ROTC until 1959. He married Bonnie (Wooley) in 1962. They built a life and raised 4 daughters. He was a member of the Millwright & Machinery Erectors Local Union 1914 for 32 years. He was a lifetime member of the NRA for 49 years. He was a proud American who never failed to boldly display his patriotism. He loved sharing his vast knowledge, teaching anyone who was willing to learn; a legacy that will continue after his death with his decision to donate his body for scientific research. He is survived by his children Koni (Howard) Masters, Michele (Phil) York, Terri Lester, and Jessica Harvey. Grandchild­ren Sherylyn (Paul Soto) Masters, Bethany (Jarrell Matos) Masters, Ashley Masters, Caden Harvey-Bolliger, and Grayson Harvey-Bolliger. Great grandchild­ren Cody, Lacey, Elizabeth, Leila, and Reyna. Sisters Betsy Ybarra, Nancy Gard, Trudy (Niamat) Khan, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie (Wooley), parents Gerald and Elizabeth (Atkinson) Harvey, and sister Sally (Harvey) Bredy. A Celebratio­n of Life and potluck will be held on November 18th at 2:00 PM at the home of the Simms Family. 8526 S. 8th Lane Phoenix, AZ 84041 Please contact family members for the gate code.
