78 of Cordes Lakes, AZ, passed away on September 25th, 2017. She was born February 3rd, 1939 in Wauconda, IL. to Geraldine and George Wheelock; raised by Fred and Helen Wilson. Married to Kenneth P. Lottes Sr. on May 4th, 1979. She graduated high school in Ogden, UT. After 15 years she retired from Honeywell, Phoenix, AZ., as a data distribution supervisor in 1993. Through her life she resided in Wauconda, IL., Canon City, CO., Devil Slide, UT., Ogden, UT., Phoenix, AZ., and Cordes Lakes, AZ. She enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, and family gatherings. She was deeply involved with her local Community Center, where she served on the Board of Directors and as a Director. She loved her church, where she held almost every office available and was a very active member of their Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, again holding almost every office. She is survived by her Husband of 38 years Kenneth P. Lottes Sr., of Cordes Lakes, AZ; 7 children: Cindy Nicely, Lori Davis, Terri Turner, Vera Fisher, Kenneth P. Lottes Jr., Randall S. Lottes, Alea M. Washington; 14 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Geraldine and George Wheelock, Fred and Helen Wilson, brothers George and Bill Wheelock, and is survived by brother Jim Wheelock and cousins Brent Miller and Lorna Irvin. Celebration of Life will be October 29th, 2017, at Mountain of Faith Lutheran Church 20135 E. Stagecoach Trl., Cordes Lakes, AZ at 2:30 p.m., with Pastor Bill Nadeau officiating. A reception will follow at Cordes Lakes Community Center at 16357 S. Cordes Lakes Dr., Cordes Lakes, AZ. She will be sorely missed by her extended family and a host of friends.
