Andre the Giant is big on love

-

Any pet lover knows the whimper of a dog in need of affection or help. This is exactly how 10-year-old Andre the Giant lets everyone know that he is ready to finally find his forever home and live out the rest of his days surrounded by warmth and love.

Andre was rescued when he was found wandering the parking lot of the Arizona Humane Society’s Sunnyslope campus. Originally scared, skinny and alone, this gentle “giant” has gained some much-needed weight in his time with AHS and now weighs in at just over 12 pounds.

Andre the Giant’s dapper salt-andpepper good looks are perfectly accompanied by his sweet, mellow disposition. The adorable pup is a perfect gentleman on a leash and will walk by your side as your faithful companion. If a dog who does not like to cuddle is your style, then Andre is not quite the pup for you. A cuddle bug in every sense of the word, he loves to slink up on your lap for a nice warm nap whenever he gets the chance.

Although everyone at AHS loves Andre the Giant, his gentle whimpers still remind us that his biggest longing is to find a forever family that will love him for the rest of his days.

For those looking to give Andre the Giant a forever home, he will be available on Sunday at noon at the Arizona Humane Society’s Campus for Compassion, 1521 W. Dobbins Road, Phoenix. Andre’s adoption fee includes his neuter surgery, current vaccinations, a microchip and a free follow-up wellness exam with a VCA Animal Hospital. For more information, call 602-997-7585 and ask for animal number 575945.
