She received a call she could not refuse. An assignment with unbelievab­le bonuses. Her new mission:

Socializin­g, Dancing, Music, and delicious food you can eat to your hearts content and not gain an ounce.

She left us detailed instructio­ns to celebrate her mission here.

We want to let her know she did an amazing job here and wish her a safe journey filled with love, laughter and many dance partners.

We will remember her beautiful smile, her warmth, her endless energy, her love for family and friends.

Jane born October 2, 1923, worked very hard all her life. Starting, Jane had a love of her life, dancing at age 8. She worked in sales for a clothing company, grocery store, bakery, and the Chrysler Corporatio­n in Hamtramck, Michigan. Jane worked as a “Rosie the Riveter” building B25 airplane wing tips in Detroit Michigan for the military. She owned and operated with her husband Harry, a typewriter business named Scottsdale Typewriter Company. She worked at a skilled nursing facility for four years. Her last job was working for Bob Fox Children’s Wear at Fashion Square Mall.

When Jane retired, her real work started. She was president for 4 years with her dance group. Jane had volunteere­d with the Sodality of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church for over 12 years. She volunteere­d at the Scottsdale Community Center, Sage Brush Theatre, and Bingo Center. Jane performed as a Eucharisti­c Minister for OLPH. She sang in the OLPH Church Choir, Belcanto Choir, and Scottsdale Symphony Choir.

Jane is survived by her loving family; daughters Cheryl Sanders (Bob husband), Mary Wenz (Roland husband), son Joseph Garstka (Tamra wife), grandchild­ren Kristie Morales (Rob husband), Jessica Wenz, Bob Sanders Jr., Brenae Will (Josh Husband), and Chance Summers, great grandchild­ren: Tanisha Will, and Kylie and Kieren Morales.

She made a difference in the lives of many. We invite you to join us and celebrate her life together.

Mass will be offered at OLPH Church. 7655 E. Main Street Scottsdale Arizona 85251. June 2nd 2018. Time: 10:00 am. Celebratio­n of life to follow 11:30-2 pm. Location: OLPH Rhoady Lee Hall
