PHOENIX – Nancy Nichols Gross, 81, of Phoenix, Arizona went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 14, 2018 after a fight with cancer. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing.

Nancy was born in Memphis, Tennessee and moved to Munford, Tennessee before the age of one. Here she grew up and met and married her deeply loved and devoted husband of 62 years, Norris Gross. They moved to the Knoxville area where she worked to put her husband through The University of Tennessee. They had two sons, Jeff and Franklin, while in East Tennessee. Upon later returning to Memphis, Nancy became a successful Real Estate Broker, serving on the Board of Directors of the Memphis Area Associatio­n of Realtors and serving as President of the Women’s Council of Realtors.

Later in life she moved to Phoenix, Arizona and enjoyed traveling, going on many cruises and spending time with her grandchild­ren and new great-granddaugh­ter. Nancy was a devoted Christian Lady attending Arizona Community Church. She enjoyed going to Bible Study groups with the ladies. She always had a positive smile and attitude. She enjoyed meeting new people and helping in any way she could. She will be greatly missed by all.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Norris, sons Jeff (Dianna) and Franklin, sister Margaret Williams, grandchild­ren Tara, Duncan, Shelby, Joseph and Samantha, great-granddaugh­ter Lainey Grace and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers in memory of Nancy, contributi­ons can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
