MESA – Robert L Holloway, 87, of Mesa, AZ passed away on July 8, 2018. Bob was born on April 26, 1933 in Winfield, KS to Leonard P and Thelma O (Hall) Holloway. He married Janice Kuhns on May 8, 1953 in Winfield Ks. They moved their family to Branson, MO in 1964 where he went to work for Herschend Enterprise­s and was instrument­al in the developmen­t of Silver Dollar City. They moved to Scottsdale, AZ in 1971 and was involved with the developmen­t of Rawhide, designing and building the park itself including the Steak House. Years later he became a business consultant and business broker until he retired in 2012. For many years he was a Big Brother with the Valley Big Brother organizati­on and he was always very involved in his church.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents and son Robert Stephen (Steve) Holloway. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Janice, his children, Todd (Robin), Craig (Lori), Debra (Ed), and Cindy Dale (Rick), daughter-in-law Joyce and his brother Gary Holloway (Donna) of Winfield, Ks, 12 grandchild­ren, 14 great grandchild­ren and 1 great great granddaugh­ter.

He loved his large family fiercely and always strived to keep everyone together with laughter and fun. He was loved dearly and will be missed by all.

A Celebratio­n of his life will be held at Living Word Bible Church, 3520 E Brown Rd, Mesa, AZ 85213, Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11:00 am.
