Tribute to an old “SHS” friend, Tom Rohr

We have all lost our old, dear, crazy and fun loving friend, Tom Rohr. I’m sure he is grinning at that “crazy” part and LOVIN IT!

Tom, who we knew from grade school as well as high school, was “the STUD” in our class and He Knew it as he enjoyed it to the fullest (the girls)!

Tom was a great athlete and so very well admired by his fellow “GUY peers” , coaches and of course, “THE GIRLS” !!!!! Believe me, He is chuckling now at my comments annnd lovin every minute of it !!!!

Tom lettered in all sports in his early high school years and went on to All-State football, basketball, and baseball. He also received a football scholarship to ASU.

One of Tom’s greatest joys in life was the honor to ride with the Bill Williams Mountain Men. Tom loved the ladies but was truly what they say “A Guys Guy”, honest and true to the core, no B.S. from Tom.

Some may not have always appreciated the brutal honesty Tom shared, but he was always a straight shooter!

Tom will be truly missed by his old Sunnyslope high school friends as well as many others who will miss his funny antics, he was a true Sloper and will never be forgotten!

Tom is predeceased by his parents Frank and Stephanie Rohr and is survived by brother John Francis Rohr and nephew Michael Shane Rohr. Lynn Thackrah Custer

A fellow “Sloper”
