PEORIA – Pierre “Pete” St. Amour, a retired educator and financial consultant, died unexpected­ly on July 28, 2018 at the age of 66 while in his home in Peoria, AZ.

Pete is survived by his wife, Kathryn St. Amour; his children, James and Victoria St. Amour; and his grandchild­ren, Aria and Devlin St. Amour. He is predecease­d in death by his children, Marquez Paul and Alicia Nicole St. Amour.

Pete was born on January 22, 1951 in Long Beach, California to James and Alice St. Amour. His bachelor’s and master’s degrees were earned at Northern Arizona University, where he met his wife, Kathryn. They went on to having four beautiful children together.

Pete was a devoted father and a charitable soul. In his retirement he enjoyed caring for his grandchild­ren and volunteeri­ng his time with the Knights of Columbus and teaching English as a second language. His kindness and generosity brightened the lives of those around him and he will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 5:00pm and a Rosary at 6:00pm located at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary in Glendale, AZ. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 10, 2018 at 10:00am located at St. Helen’s Catholic Church.
