PHOENIX – Lee Krinsky passed away July 24, 2018, one week before his 68th birthday. Born and raised in Philadelph­ia, PA he was all about family and friends. Lee donated his time to B’nai Brith and its Youth Services, loved being a Big Brother many times over, life long member of the Masonic Lodge #482 in Philadelph­ia. He attended Temple University and began working in the auto insurance industry. While opening insurance offices in Pittsburgh, he met the love of his life, Karen and married that same year. Together they embarked on an adventure that lasted over 35 years, moving them to Phoenix. Surviving a heart transplant in 2006, it seemed that his strength could take him through anything. In Arizona Lee donated his time and enjoyed the communitie­s of the New Life Society, Donor Network of AZ and Elks Lodge #335, all great people who meant the world to him. Preceded in death by his father S. Sydney Krinsky and mother Harriet Miller Krinsky Levin. Surviving family include his wife Karen Altemus Krinsky, sister Janice Weisberger and her husband Cal of CA, sisters and brother-in-laws Janene and Michael Kelly of Arizona, Lavonne and Robert Johnston of Delaware plus nephews, nieces and grand nephews and grand nieces who were always in his loving heart. Anyone who ever met Lee would not forget him. He fulfilled his life by being a part of many “lives”. No services are planned. Please support organ donation and transplant in his memory.
