Gilbert Garcia Delgado

PHOENIX – Gilbert Garcia Delgado became our Angel on August 3, 2018. Gilbert was born on November 3, 1962 in Phoenix, Arizona. Gilbert passed away doing what he loved —camping in the woods with his loving wife Pam and his extended family at the Muniz Family Campsite near Payson. Gilbert is survived by his Mother, Mary Valenzuela and his Father, Rueben (Antonia) Delgado both of Phoenix. Gilbert is survived by his best friend and soul mate of over 36 years — Pamela Delgado. Together they created a family starting with Anthony (Kari) Delgado, Joseph (Jessica) Delgado and Ciara (Matt) Halfast all of Flagstaff. He was also Tata to Michael, Raelynn, Matthew, Maggie, Conor, Jaidyn, Joseph and Carlee. Gilbert is also survived by his siblings, Sophie Gonzales, Christopher aka Freddie Valenzuela, Sagrario (Richard) Perez and Francisco (Shannon) Delgado all of the Phoenix area. He was also loved by his sibling (in-laws) Debbie and Carl Dickerson of Flagstaff, Susan and Mike Rusinski of Marysville, WA and Doyle Stottlemyre Jr. of Newport, 0R. Gilbert was preceded to heaven by his sister Rebecca Delgado, his brother Ruben Delgado and his sister in law Cindy Stottlemyre. Gilbert also leaves behind countless — literally — Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends that were Family. Gilbert’s greatest joy in life was being with his Family — especially in the woods. Special thanks, love and gratitude from Nino and Tia to Raquel (Carlos) Navarro for all their love and support. Services will be on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 10:30 AM preceded by a viewing from 9:30 to 10:15 AM at Norvell 0wens Mortuary in Flagstaff, AZ.
