TEMPE – I went to Heaven on April 28, 2018, after having a stroke. I had my 76th birthday on April 5, 2018. I was born on Easter Sunday, April 5, 1942 in Gary, IN.

I worked at United States Steel Sheet and Tin as a Brick Mason in Gary, IN for 15 years. I had my own business for 20 years. My business was named Grandpa’s Ice Cream Truck in Chandler, AZ. I also worked for North Pole Photos inside Metro and Fiesta Malls for 5 years as Santa’s Helper.

I married Janet Sue Cilek from Crown Point, IN on December 14, 1969. We were married in Hammond, IN. We were married 48 years.

In 1985, my wife Janet and I, along with our 4 daughters, now Jinger Stokes, Janelle Syverson, Jennifer Horn, and Julie Reynolds moved from Demotte, IN to AZ.

I have 2 son-in-laws, Chris Horn and Jeff Reynolds. I have 1 granddaugh­ter, Brittany Stokes. I have 7 grandsons, Nicholas Stokes, Dakota Syverson, Jordan Reynolds, Paul Jacob Syverson, Troy Reynolds, Andrew Horn, and Brandon Reynolds. I have a nephew, William Moore Jr. and wife Stacey. I have a niece, Cathie Feick and husband Tom. Also, I have a niece Bianca Angendt.

Preceding me in Heaven, parents Veatrice Wyrick Dahlberg, Oscar “Ted” Wyrick; stepfather Sven Dahlberg; brother Donald Vaughn; sister Carolyn Moore; brother-in-law William Moore Sr.; son-inlaw Kip Syverson; grandson Paul Jacob Syverson. I Loved All My Family And My Dog, Henry! My cremation arrangemen­ts were made by Angels Cremation and Burial in Mesa, AZ.
