PHOENIX – Milton Walker Hathaway, Sr. was reunited with his mother, father and son on 7/25/2018. Born in Portsmouth, Virginia to parents Sylvester Erwin Hathaway Sr., and Nellie Louise Walker. The apple of his mother’s eye all of her life. In his last few days, he only asked to go home to the Lord. A devoted husband who cared more for his wife’s needs than his own. An immensely proud father, grand and great-grandfathe­r. Milton was fiercely proud to be an Eagle Scout and United States Marine. An accomplish­ed, competitiv­e District Manager with Farmers Insurance for 30 years. A highly respected man in all walks of life. Milton was a true southern gentleman with a special way of reaching out and caring for all he met, making them feel special. His influence and guidance will long be remembered. Most of all HE DID IT HIS WAY! He was preceded in death by his beloved son Richard Sr. Milton leaves behind his adoring wife of 25 years, Dolores “Dee”, sons, Milton Jr. (Meredith), Robert (Vicky), daughterin-law Mary Elizabeth “Beth”. Grandchild­ren; Kyle, Elann (Rachel), Kelli (Tony), Richard Jr., Clay (Laura), great-grandchild­ren; Lindy, Mallory, Brent, Hunter, Jake. Step-family; daughter, Kathy, grandchild­ren; Mark, Tiffany, Christine, Jason (Mindy). Great-grandchild­ren; Delany, Devon, Ethan. Great-great-granddaugh­ter, Elizabeth. Memorial services to be held 8/21/2018, 11:00 AM, at Desert Springs Bible Church, 16215 N. Tatum Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85032. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Arizona Scouting Museum, P.O.
