Truth is truth — real facts keep coming

-

It’s coming people. Like it or not our current sitting president acted illegally to get himself elected to office. He acted illegally on numerous fronts for his election campaign. The proof just keeps coming. Real facts!

Donald Trump is president based on an election result that was part of a fraud acted against the United States. This election result can no longer be accepted. Donald Trump and his election win must be disallowed.

The election result must be forfeited and the real president must be Hillary Clinton. Mike Pence may or may not be part off this fraud, but he cannot be granted the presidency based on an illegal “win.”

The next step is to remove all of the judges that have been nominated by Donald Trump, including Supreme Court appointments.

If you allow the “fruits” of an illegal president to remain in place, you are rewarding voters who knowingly voted for such a horrible person. Nicholas Madison, Phoenix

All the president’s men were supposed to be the brightest

During his campaign, Donald Trump promised us he’d surround himself with “the best and the brightest.” How’s that working out? Doug Hopkins, Chandler

Prosecutors were right to throw book at Manafort

The Manafort trial is not a disgrace, as President Trump would have us believe.

Anyone who breaks the law should be held accountable, no matter how it is discovered.

Or would Trump have preferred Kenneth Starr ignore the Monica Lewinsky tryst during the Whitewater investigation? Cynthia Harrod, Mesa

Congress needs to assert to Trump he is betraying oath

When a jury of American citizens listens to four weeks of testimony, deliberates for four days and renders a verdict, that is how our justice system is supposed to work.

When the president of this great country comes out and says that the verdict is a disgrace, it disgraces him and our country.

Both parties in Congress need to come forward and tell him once and for all, he is bound by oath to our Constitution and he is betraying that oath by favoring his criminal associates above his country.

America deserves better. Much better. Gerald Kern, Scottsdale

We all know why Sheriff Joe is in the race for U.S. Senate

Regarding the article “Longshot Arpaio bid struggles for traction,” you are correct.

But do we really think he planned to win?

Joe is in it for the publicity (like Trump), for the money (like Trump), for empty praises and the spotlight (like Trump), to promote his right-wing agenda (like Trump), and to mix things up by exciting the haters and white nationalists (like Trump).

Maybe if our law-breaking (like Trump) ex-sheriff wins, he could return the favor and pardon Trump. Neil Tift, Mesa

On this day, a look back at GOP convention is in order

The Republican convention chant “Lock Her Up” resonates today. Can you hear it Manafort, Cohen, and, oh, yes, President Trump? Mary Mistler, Rio Verde
